Commercial building maintenance in Metro Detroit

Painting, drywall, roofing, framing, electrical, HVAC and plumbing: all self-performed by AGP crews. For property managers and facilities directors who'd rather make one phone call than coordinate seven vendors.

Why One Contractor

Seven trades, one phone call

Most commercial properties juggle a roster of vendors: one company for painting, another for drywall, a third for roofing, then separate ones for framing, electrical, HVAC and plumbing, each with their own scheduling, billing and insurance certificates to track. When a tenant moves out and the new lease starts in three weeks, the work usually crosses most of that list: the drywall needs patching where furniture was anchored, the walls need paint, the new layout needs circuits moved, the restroom fixtures are original to the building, and somebody should look at the rooftop unit before the tenant does.

AGP self-performs all seven with our own crews. When you call about a water-damaged ceiling tile and a breaker that keeps tripping, the same team handles both. When you call six months later for a tenant turnover, you call the same number. For property managers running 5, 10 or 50 properties across Metro Detroit, that consolidation saves real hours every month.

One line worth stating plainly: our plumbing is scheduled work, not 24 hour emergency service. If water is moving through your building right now, call an emergency plumber. For everything that can go on a calendar, we're the better call.

Who We Serve

Built for property managers and facilities directors

The customers who get the most from AGP's maintenance services are the ones managing multiple properties or operating commercial spaces that can't tolerate downtime.

  • Property management companies with portfolios of office, industrial or multi-family properties across Metro Detroit
  • Facilities directors at large single-occupant buildings: manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, corporate headquarters
  • Building owners and landlords who handle tenant turnover, repaint cycles and capital improvements on their own properties
  • Retail operators who need fast response between inspection findings and re-opening dates

Coordination is the whole job

With seven separate vendors, that's fourteen phone calls, seven schedules, seven invoices, seven insurance certificates to track, and the very real chance that one of them can't schedule in your window. With AGP, it's one call, one schedule, one invoice. Our project manager sequences the work so trades don't step on each other: the drywall patch dries before paint, the roof inspection happens before scaffolding goes up for exterior touch-up.

Response Time

Same-week response for most requests

For non-emergency maintenance work (painting, drywall repair, framing) we typically schedule a walk-through within 3 to 5 business days of your call. For emergency roof leaks or active water damage, we mobilize faster.

For property managers with multiple buildings, we also offer service agreements with set response times and standing schedules for predictable work: repaint cycles, annual roof inspections, common-area refreshes. Contact us if a service agreement makes sense for your portfolio.

FAQ

What property managers ask us

Can AGP handle multiple properties on a service agreement?

Yes. We work with property management companies that run 10+ commercial properties across Metro Detroit. Service agreements typically cover regular maintenance work (paint touch-ups, drywall repairs, roof inspections) with set response times and predictable monthly billing.

How fast can you respond to a roof leak or urgent repair?

For active roof leaks, we aim to have someone on-site the same day for emergency tarp and leak-stop work. Permanent repair gets scheduled after the leak is contained.

Do you work after business hours so we can stay open?

Yes: especially common for retail painting, office drywall repair, and any work in occupied tenant spaces. We schedule evenings, weekends or overnight depending on the scope. Pricing reflects the shift.

Will my building's tenants notice you're there?

That's the goal: minimal disruption. For interior work in occupied spaces, we use dustless drywall systems, low-VOC paints and phased scheduling so most tenants don't notice anything beyond a courtesy notice from property management.

Do you bill insurance directly for water-damage repairs?

Yes. We work with property insurance carriers regularly on water-damage drywall repair, roof leak repairs and post-incident restoration. We provide the documentation insurance adjusters need and can bill the carrier directly when you authorize it.

Property need work? Let's schedule a walk-through.

One call covers all seven trades. Tell us what the building needs and when it can't be disrupted.
